prediction: we’ll get some notion of the field of “artificial cognitive science” where people will run artificial tests on AI that you couldn’t do on humans ex: mimic development via finetuning/training, simulate learning in-context, etc there’s also a decent chance that none of it maps well onto humans but is interesting on its own for understanding and interpretability for AI systems
