It captures the rage people feel when they work really hard to better themselves by earning more, only to see subsidies disappear and their take-home stay the same or actually drop. And better, it at least tries to put numbers with that.

I think people liked it because it lays out what happens as you move up through a very specific region of the income ladder & start losing subsidies, including the Obamacare marketplace subsidies, which alone can eat up most of your income gains.

It captures the rage people feel when they work really hard to better themselves by earning more, only to see subsidies disappear and their take-home stay the same or actually drop. And better, it at least tries to put numbers with that.

The finance article everyone (including me) is RTing is getting some pushback, at least some of it for being partly AI written (allegedly). I think his $130K poverty line # for family of 4 is too high, but it's a useful corrective for $32K(!!) for a family of 4.
