I spent the past 10 years working at LinkedIn, Snap, and a16z. During that time, I've also worked with dozens of founders on building their personal accounts. Here are 5 mistakes founders repeatedly make:
1/ They make their content too much about their company. If you’re always selling, then people will tune you out. Only a handful of people have the skill of being able to promote their product 24/7, and it’s usually because it’s a core part of their identity to begin with. @iamjasonlevin does a great job with @memelordtech, but very few people can pull this off.
