We should use AI to accelerate our design systems, not to bypass them.

The goal isn't just to move fast, it's to move fast without the house falling down in 6 months.

Yesterday, I made the "Bull Case" for WordPress: Use it as a battle-tested foundation so you don't have to reinvent the bricks.

But there’s a new trap appearing for architects building on these foundations: Vibe Coding. 🧵

Yesterday, I made the "Bull Case" for WordPress: Use it as a battle-tested foundation so you don't have to reinvent the bricks. But there’s a new trap appearing for architects building on these foundations: Vibe Coding. 🧵

"Vibe Coding" is when you use AI to spin up a beautiful UI in seconds. It looks great. It feels right. It has the "vibe." But a "vibe" isn't a system. And when you prioritize the vibe over the design system, you’re building technical debt at 10x speed.

Common deal killer I see at @acquiredotcom?

Stalled growth during due diligence. When you decide to sell your startup, it’s tempting to shift 100% of your focus to the deal.

You stop shipping features.
You pause marketing.
You start mentally checking out.

But buyers aren't just paying for what you built yesterday. They are paying for the trajectory of where it’s going tomorrow.

If your MRR flattens out while you are negotiating, your valuation drops. Treat the acquisition process like a side hustle. Your main job is still to grow the business until the money is in the bank.

Sell from a position of strength, not stagnation.

PS - if you're looking to sell in 2026, we'd love to talk with you. Find time to speak with our team here: https://t.co/6hqLR8REAe

A few people messaged me about the mcp installation component on https://t.co/oUzQITk1rD

so I had claude code port it to a repo you can use to convert mcp.json to different client formats

useful if you have an mcp server and want better install docs!

TLDR; I make software with AI and talk about it. Serial internet biz builder with multiple 6 & 7 figure exits. Always learning.

Laravel tip/reminder: HasManyThrough relationship.

If you have hasMany 2-level deep, you can get to the "grandchild" record faster.
