One of the biggest advantages of AI agents over human coders is the total lack of sunk cost fallacy. The bot will cheerfully redo all the work it just did, multiple times in a row if needed, w/ zero attachment to its previous effort. This is a massive speed boost.

On 45% (Europe) and 100% (US) tariffs on Chinese EV vehicles... Not sure I should be paying for the world power imbalance. I’m just a customer who wants the best for my family. Let's scale it down, say, I have two pie shops, A and B. Shop A gets apples from the neighbour’s old man for almost nothing, while Shop B has to pay the farmer. The pies at Shop A are not only tasty but also affordable; I get more for my money there. But the city government penalises the old man to make me pay more for lower-quality pies I, the consumer, don’t even like. Perhaps - I’m not an economist, not a pro at grand schemes, just a thought - instead of tariffs, governments should subsidize their car manufacturers too? The race will bear fruit for all.
