It’s crazy how the anti-AI people are backing themselves into a corner on a much more important issue than copyright law: can machines be people? This will be the defining question of the decade I think, by the time it’s over, and they are going into the conversation dug in hard.

I guess what annoys me the most with EU tech: announcements read as if we were tiny Kingdom of Syldavia amazingly pulling out a space program. This is the f***ing largest market on earth with China and US. Not having frontier AI, a Google, even a Yandex, is entirely skill issue
